Community Songs Vol 1 All Our Voices
We've had a growing conviction that the church needs more community songs in its repertoire.
Songs that are born from community,
songs that paint a picture of community, and
songs that, themselves, help to form community.
So we spent the last nine months going back to basics - practising, learning and road testing - to try and figure out how to create songs that would do these things. Songs that take a back seat and are less important than the community that is singing them. Songs that don't narrow the sound of our worship but instead release our full voice. Songs, even, that don't really work unless we open the floor and take a few chances.
Of the many songs we've written during this time, these are three that caught on organically and began to spread without us even trying. So we offer them to you as something you could try singing with your church.
But more so, we want to inspire and encourage a richer practice of corporate singing that is multidimensional, where - instead of a few dominant voices taking over - every voice matters.
This is the first volume where we focus on those community-forming songs. There's more to follow in early 2026.
We love it when you sing our songs, but we'd love it even more if songs like these emerged from within your community. Why not give it a try?
