Worship Songwriting Retreat North 2026
You are invited to join us in summer 2026 as the Resound Worship Songwriter Retreat returns to Wydale Hall for its 11th year.
Join over 60 songwriters for five days of creativity, teaching, collaboration and worship.

Four nights at Wydale Hall in North Yorkshire, a country manor house overlooking a beautiful valley, under the summer sun with songwriters ranging from grassroots beginners to published professionals. A unique opportunity to gather, learn, share, collaborate, write and worship.

Programme
The retreat runs from 5pm Sunday 28 June to 1.30pm Thursday 2 July.

Accommodation Options
We offer a range of optons, to suit different budgets. Prices include all meals.
Single Ensuite £459
This is a single occupancy bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. It may have a single or a double bed. For married couples there is an option to add another occupant for a further £249.
Twin Room (Shared) Ensuite £365
A bed in a shared room with an ensuite bathroom. You can specify when booking if there is another delegate you would prefer to share with.
Dorm Room (Shared) £295
Basic accommodation in a shared single-sex dormitory, with access to a separate shower room that is shared with campers.
Camping/Campervan £275
A plot on a shared field, with hookups as required. There is limited campervan access to the field depending on the width of the your vehicle, but we have another smaller concreted area that will have room for larger vans (no hook up). Shower rooms are shared with the Dorm Room users. (Please note, the price is per person, not per plot)
Non-Residential £275
If you would prefer to find a local B&B (try Snainton), or even commute from wherever you live, then you can book a ticket that includes all meals and sessions but no accommodation provision.
Optional Branded Travelmug £14.50
We try to minimise mess and waste, and this year we are encouraging people to bring their own travel mugs for refreshments. If you think that a Resound Worship / Worship Songwriting Retreat branded travel mug would be both useful and a nice memento, you can add it to to your ticket!
There is a bursary fund available for those for whom the cost would be prohibitive. If you are, or you know of, a songwriter who would benefit from this, please contact us directly. We really want to use the bursary and we'd love to hear from you!
Booking conditions: Payment can be made in full at the time of booking or in two installments with the balance due on 10 April 2026. For cancellations before and including 10 April 2026 a full refund will be given. For cancellations between and including 11 April and 30 May a refund of 50% of the total fee will be given. No refunds can be given for cancellations after 30 May. We recommend you take out travel insurance to cover your booking in case you should need to make a late cancellation.
