Praise awaits you,
mighty God who saves,
you formed the mountains
stilled the roaring waves,
you calm the storms,
the turmoil of the nations.
The whole earth is filled,
the whole earth is filled,
the whole earth is filled with awe
at your wonders.

Where morning dawns
and evening sunlight fades
you call forth songs
of gratitude and praise.
You pour out rain,
enriching soil and rivers.
The whole earth is filled,
the whole earth is filled,
the whole earth is filled with awe
at your wonders.

The whole earth is filled with praise,
creation was made for the praise of your name.
We join with the world you made
singing out praise, for your wonders.

You crown the year,
we reap the crop you sow.
Your hand provides,
your mercies overflow.
The desert sings,
the hills are clothed with gladness.
The whole earth is filled,
the whole earth is filled,
the whole earth is filled with awe
at your wonders.

Bible Passages: Psalm 65

Psalm 65 is such a wonderful harvest text, and I found this sung version flowed out quite quickly. I wanted to capture the spirit of praise and thankfulness for God’s provision which is so evident in the psalm, and God’s ongoing care for creation. This is part of the Harvest Worship set of four songs, linked to the material created by engageworship.
