Resound Worship is a ministry of the Song and Hymn Writers Foundation, a charity dedicated to publishing quality worship songs as well as training, resourcing and influencing worship songwriters from the grass roots to published composers. We’d really value your support.

Nature shines with beauty,
bringing us a revelation
of the Maker's glory,
leading us in adoration.

O God who made the stars
and formed us from the dust,
your plans are over ours
and all your ways are love.

Nature groans in labour,
longing for the revelation
of the Maker's children
on the day of liberation

Romans 8 is quoted in hundreds of worship songs, but the idea from verse 19 that “creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed” is still fairly unexplored. I didn’t (and don’t) fully understand what that verse means, but as I searched for melodies to bring it to God in worship, I found myself wondering at the heights of his plans for us, that we who caused the Fall have become a sign of redemption to the rest of creation.
