The God who laid the earth's foundations (He is here)

If you’re a fan of what we do, would you consider supporting us with a one-off or regular gift?
Resound Worship is a ministry of the Song and Hymn Writers Foundation, a charity dedicated to publishing quality worship songs as well as training, resourcing and influencing worship songwriters from the grass roots to published composers. We’d really value your support.

The God who laid the earth’s foundations,
the God who’s Lord of every nation,
the God who tends each generation
is here.

The God who left his throne so glorious,
the God who walked the road before us,
the God who rose from death victorious
is here, is here.

Hallelujah, he is here.
Hallelujah, our God is here.

The God who makes his home inside us,
the God who teaches and inspires us,
the God who leads and guards and guides us
is here, is here.

He is here,
he is here.

Really like this. Could see it working well (in an Anglican or other liturgical context) as a song before the Eucharistic Prayer, leading beautifully into, 'The Lord is here / His Spirit is with us; Lift up your hearts / We lift them to the Lord...'

Terrific! Thank you Andy and Lesley, I intend to bring this to our music team at our next rehearsal. Simple, thoughtful and uplifting. Thank you
