to see the fullness of the world you’re making,

we pray that we would see your kingdom come.

of all you’ve started finally completed
when perfect love will leave our fears defeated

Your kingdom will not be taken away,
we’ll live forever, because of your grace,
and we will see our saviour face to face.

Every tear is wiped away,
no more crying and no more pain,
death is finished and mourning has gone:
your kingdom come.
Lord, we’re pleading,
this world is hurting, with so many grieving;
we long to see the hate and fear retreating,
and it can only come to be through you.
