Here I stand,
on holy ground,
but by your grace I live.

Even in
my darkest sin,
I know that you forgive.

It’s your grace, and grace alone,
that keeps me on my feet.
By your grace, and grace alone,
I’m alive.

All I have been,
all I will be,
all I am is
covered by your grace alone.
Loving kindness,
lavished on me;
I’m completely
covered by your grace alone.

Jesus, breathe
over me,
lead me once again.

You perfect
my wayward steps,
so I am not condemned.

When my heart condemns me,
then your love befriends me.
When my footsteps falter,
then your love is stronger.

Bible Passages: Rom 8:1; Eph 2; Jude 1:24-25
Themes: Grace

God’s grace is the foundation of our daily lives. We exist with the authority of Christ; the power of the Spirit; and the unbreakable, passionate commitment of the Father - all because the grace he showed in Christ is as active in us now by his Spirit. God’s grace doesn’t just make us right; it enables us to live righteously too. This truth liberates us from shame and fear of failure, giving us daily confidence in the goodness of God.
